New Version Incoming


So, this is just a general overview how things are going. If you’re in the Patreon/SS, there’s nothing new here, except maybe I’ll be much more brief.

I will be releasing 0.0.7 this Friday to Patrons. It has some fundamental technological changes, as I’ll be moving towards using Spine2D to save both in space, and to get more performance (I mean, I don’t really need it, but my thoughts on that are that it’s always better be more performant, than not.)

I will release the 0.0.5 to public today at Itch.io, later on. But the 0.0.5 public version will be available on Patreon and Subscribe Stars at this very moment. So you can go and get it there, if you like. Or just wait later today.

I’ll detail the changes in the new version in its release post.

But overall, things are going well. I do have to redo some of the older systems I did way back last year when I started this project, as the scope/style changed quite a lot from what I was initially planning as the gameplay. I am currently, for example, in the 0.0.7 release running Spine2D and flat image sprites concurrently, and also I have two kinds of approaches to launching dialogue. Basically, since I have to do regular releases to Patreon/SS, I will be slowly rolling architecture changes in the background.

A bit of a pain, but at least things are moving?
