Unfortunate Adventure (Alpha)

UNFORTUNATE ADVENTURE is a sandbox harem game with roughly monthly updates updates in Patreon/SS. Obviously, it is currently under heavy development.  Please consider supporting the game's development via joining the Patreon or Subscribestars.

The game will always be available for free. Not much choice on that matter with how the Collective Shout and Visa/Mastercard are censoring the internet. But the 'free version' will be updated much slower than the Patreon version and there will be exclusive Patreon content over time.

The tech-demo will eventually be updated into a 'proper demo' at some point in the future. I will then publish a separate project for the final demo, and also the "Early Access" game as a separate project. But the EA version on Itch will be much slower at updating than the Patreon/SS Version. 

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum screen resolution is 1920x1080.
2. All game art is in 4K resolution, so slower computers might notice this.
3. The game is made in Godot 4.5.1 -- so Vulkan support is mandatory! This means very old integrated GPU's won't even start the game! If you can't start the game, and your GPU does support at least Vulkan 1.0, please update your drivers.
4. A dedicated GPU is recommended, but not necessary for running it. Without one the game might slow down in some places.
5. Otherwise, outside of the modern requirements of the GPU (Vulkan support) it should run on pretty much anything that can start it. As far as I can tell, it should run on practically anything with VRAM/RAM usage being below 1gb, but test it to make sure it runs.

UNFORTUNATE ADVENTURE is an adult Visual Novel with light RPG elements. The RPG part has no pointless grinding for stats. The stats merely affect the flavor of the text and the narrative flow, as well as the specific path your character might take through the journey, and the relationship he has with the girls.

The sex is also optional (so if someone does not appeal, you don't have to get close to them), and there is eventually planned (but currently NOT implemented) a wide range of girls to pick from, so there should be someone for everyone eventually!

You are applying for a trip through a portal into another world.

But things don't go to plan, the portal activates, and you are dragged through into a new world before you had even fully agreed. You end up in a bizarre house, meet a Vampire Sorceress who calls you the 'Great One' and pledges herself as your first 'Anchor'. Just what the hell is going on?

There will be a lot more women to meet, so don't let them wait!

You will also get access to all 4K artwork and wallpapers through the Patreon and Subscribe stars pages. I publish art, both unrelated and game-related, when I have time to work on it for my Patrons. In addition, you also get updates on the progress of the game. As well as the ability to weigh in on the direction of the game and have your opinions be heard in the (very) rare polls that I do, as well as sending me DM's to request features.
